Joy to the World: The Now. Here. This Cast Recording Drops December 18

The hit off-Broadway musical’s Kickstarter delivers big with an official original cast album and behind-the-scenes feature.

Ghostlight Records has announced the original cast recording of Vineyard Theatre‘s Now. Here. This. will be available both on CD and digital download on December 18. The album was completely funded by individual donors who contributed to the project via the internet fundraising platform Kickstarter.

Now. Here. This. reunited the six major collaborators of the Tony-nominated Broadway musical, [title of show]. It has music and lyrics by Jeff Bowen, a book by Hunter Bell and Susan Blackwell, direction and choreography by Michael Berresse, musical direction and arrangements by Larry Pressgrove, and starred the three writers alongside collaborator Heidi Blickenstaff.

In addition to the CD’s release, Ghostlight Records created a documentary that takes you behind-the-scenes of the Now. Here. This. cast recording experience (a la Company, but sans Elaine Stritch). You can watch it here instead of going to your company holiday party:
