Todd Almond, Michael Arden, Taylor Mac, et al. to Join Our Lady J for The Gospel of Dolly

Todd Almond, Michael Arden, Kitty Hiccups, Taylor Mac, Andy Mientus, and Geo Wyeth will join Our Lady J for the fifth annual Gospel of Dolly, to be presented at Joe’s Pub on Tuesday, December 27 at 7:30pm and 9:30pm.

This evening of Dolly Parton’s music will be accompanied by The Train-To-Kill Gospel Choir, and aims to sheds new meaning and light on Dolly’s greatest hits, as well as her lesser known spiritual songs.

Upcoming events at Joe’s Pub include the previously reported Futurity concert featuring Michael Cerveris (December 16), along with Ethan Lipton & His Orchestra (January 7), Lady Rizo with director Niegel Smith (January 9), The Civilians (January 13), Taylor Mac (January 15), If It Only Even Runs A Minute 8 (January 16), a staged reading of Grizzly Adams: A True Story of Bears, Brawn, and Brain Injuries (January 17); Stew and The Negro Problem (January 23), and James Jackson, Jr. (January 29).
