Mark Brennan Rosenberg to Kick-Off 40-City Book Tour at Kirk Theatre

Author Mark Brennan Rosenberg will kick-off a 40-city book tour for his acclaimed book of essays Blackouts and Breakdowns on January 5, 2012 at the Kirk Theatre on Theatre Row at 7pm. Rosenberg will read passages from his book. The event is open to the public.

Blackouts and Breakdowns is described as “a no holds barred look into the life of a twenty-something very gay, very fabulous, very alcoholic young man.” The volume includes eleven short stories ranging from teenagers stealing nativity scenes off of strangers’ lawns to attempting to pick up a deaf guy in a bar by pretending to know sign language.

Among the upcoming cities on the tour will be Seattle (January 16-18), San Francisco (January 21-24), Dallas (February 10-11), Orlando, February 190-20), Atlanta (March 1-3), Washington, D.C. (March 11-14), Philadelphia (March 18-20), Boston (March 24-26), Chicago (April 2-5), and St. Louis (April 17-18).
