La La Anthony, Terrence Howard, Dolly Parton, et al. to Present at VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul

La La Anthony, Common, Terrence Howard, Nas, Dolly Parton, and Queen Latifah will be among the presenters at VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul, to be taped on December 18 in New York City, and air on VH1 on December 19.
The concert will pay tribute to the places that helped create or contributed to the genre, including Chicago, Detroit, London, Philadelphia and Memphis.
As previously reported, the headlining divas will include Jennifer Hudson, Jill Scott, Jessie J, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Florence and the Machine, and The Roots will be among the acts. Additional performers will include Chaka Khan, Erykah Badu, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Boyz II Men, Estelle, Marsha Ambrosius and Travie McCoy, along with the newly added Anita Baker, Mavis Staples, Wanda Jackson and Ledisi.
This edition of “VH1 Divas” will benefit the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of music education in a child’s life.
