James Frain to Join Johnny Depp in Lone Ranger Film

Stage and screen star James Frain has joined the cast of Gore Verbinski’s film, The Lone Ranger, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film will star Johnny Depp in the title role, along with Armie Hammer, Helena Bonham Carter and Tom Wilkinson,

Frain appeared in the Broadway revival of The Homecoming, and his many London stage credits include Other People, King Lear, and She Stoops to Conquer.

His numerous film and television credits include True Blood, Water for Elephants, The Cape, Hilary and Jackie, The Count of Monte Cristo and The Tudors.
