Helena Blackman to Launch Journey to the Past U.K. Concert Tour in January

Helena Blackman will launch a U.K. tour of Journey to the Past with a performance at London’s The Pheasantry on January 21.

Other performances will be held in Maidstone (January 27), Farnham (January 28), Southampton (February 3), Halifax (February 8), Stoke-on-Trent (February 9), Manchester (February 10), New Wimbledon (February 11), Gloucester (February 18), Birmingham (February 25), Aylesbury (March 3), Epsom (March 8), Greenwich (March 22), Finchley (March 31), Cardiff (April 7), and Redditch (April 12).

In the show, Blackman will perform songs from classic animated movie musicals, ncluding Anastasia, Thumbelina, The Land Before Time, The Rescuers, and An American Tail, as well as such Disney classics as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, and Mulan.

Blackman’s stage credits include a UK tour of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific, the West End première of Stephen Sondheim’s Saturday Night, The Wizard of Oz and Gypsy.
