Charlotte Parry to Replace Anastasia Griffith in Look Back in Anger Off-Broadway

Charlotte Parry will play Helena in Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of John Osborne’s Look Back in Anger, running January 13 – April 8. She replaces the previously announced Anastasia Griffith, who has had to withdraw due to a scheduling conflict.

Parry has appeared on Broadway in Coram Boy, The Real Thing and The Importance of Being Earnest. Among her other stage credits are Equivocation, and Howard Katz off-Broadway, as well as the Bridge Project productions of The Cherry Orchard and The Winter’s Tale.

The show, which debuted in England in 1956, focuses on four people struggling to live together and love each other in 1950s England. Directed by Sam Gold, the company will also feature Adam Driver (Cliff), Sarah Goldberg (Allison), and Matthew Rhys (Jimmy).

The creative team will include Andrew Lieberman (scenic design), David Zinn (costume design), Mark Barton (lighting design), and Bray Poor (sound design).
