Actor Alan Sues Has Died

Stage and screen star Alan Sues, who gained worldwide fame as a cast member of Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, has died at age 85, according to The New York Times.


Sues appeared in the original Broadway production of Tea and Sympathy, and later starred on the Great White Way as Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes. His other stage credits include The Mad Show and No Flies on Me.


His film and television credits also include The Americanization of Emily, Love, American Style, The Doris Day Show, and Punky Brewster.
