On Monday, December 6, New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts held their annual
The Face of Tisch 2010 gala at the
Frederick P. Rose Hall, honoring Tony and Emmy Award winner Billy Crystal. Arthur Masella directed the event, which was a fundraiser for the Tisch School of the Arts’ efforts to renovate the original home of the school on Second Avenue.
Participants and attendees included Christina Bianco, Seán Curran, Whoopi Goldberg, Marcia Gay Harden, Isaiah Johnson, Jesse L. Martin, Krysta Rodriguez, Paul Shaffer, Mark Shaiman, Noah Weisberg, and Robin Williams.
Crystal, who earned his BFA from Tisch in 1970, won a Tony Award for his solo show 700 Sundays. He has appeared in such films as Throw Momma from the Train, Analyze This, City Slickers, and When Harry Met Sally. He has also hosted the Oscar and Grammy Awards, and received the Kennedy Center’s Mark Twain Prize.
