Philip Seymour Hoffman to Appear at Joe’s Pub in January

Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman will join Public Theater artistic director Oskar Eustis and editor Lewis Lapham as Lapham’s Quarterly celebrates the release of its Winter 2011 issue “Celebrity” at 7pm on Tuesday, January 20 at Joe’s Pub. The evening will include a discussion and reading of selections from the magazine.

Hoffman is scheduled to star in a Broadway revival of Death of a Salesman, and his other stage credits includeLong Day’s Journey Into Night, True West, The Seagull. Jack Goes Boating and Othello. He won an Academy Award for Capote, and received Oscar nominations for his performances in Doubt and Charlie Wilson’s War.
