Larry Hagman to Guest Star on ABC’s Desperate Housewives

Larry Hagman will guest star on ABC’s Desperate Housewives, according to published reports. The episode, to be aired later this season, will begin shooting next week.

Hagman will be playing a new love interest for Stella Winfield (played by Polly Bergen), who is the mother of the character Lynette (Felicity Huffman).

Hagman received a Theatre World Award for his performance in God and Kate Murphy. Among his other Broadway credits are The Beauty Part, The Warm Peninsula and The Nervous Set. The actor is perhaps best known for his iconic roles on the television series I Dream of Jeannie and Dallas.
