Jeff Cohen’s The Man Who Ate Michael Rockefeller will play an Off-Broadway engagement at the Arclight Theatre, running February 2 – March 13. Alfred Preisser will once again direct the play, which had a limited Off-Off-Broadway engagement earlier this year.

The piece is based on a short story by Christopher Stokes, and focuses on the case of a man, who in 1961, disappeared among the Asmat People of Papua, New Guinea. He was never heard from again. The play imagines what might have happened to its title character, as told by the Asmat people.

The company will feature the complete original Off-Off-Broadway cast, David Brown, Jr., Shannon Dorsey, Tracy Jack, David King, Daniel Morgan Stanley, and Aaron Strand.

The creative team includes Heather Wolensky (scenic design), Jay Scott (lighting design), and Kimberley Glennon (costume design).
