Jason Butler Harner Joins J.J. Abrams’ Alcatraz Pilot

Stage veteran Jason Butler Harner has joined the cast of J.J. Abrams’ time-warped drama Alcatraz, according to EW.com.
Actors Jonathan Coyne, Jorge Garcia, and Sarah Jones have also been cast in the series pilot.
Abrams’ previous TV work includes Lost, Fringe, Undercovers, Alias, and Felicity. He also directed the recent Star Trek movie and Mission Impossible III.
Harner appeared in the Broadway production of The Coast of Utopia. His many other credits include Our Town, Serenading Louie and The Gingerbread House.
