Flea Theatre Announces Casting for Trista Baldwin’s American Sexy

The Flea Theater has announced casting for Trista Baldwin’s American Sexy, to run January 15 – February 22. Mia Walker will direct the production.

The play focuses on four college students who find themselves literally — and metaphorically — detoured on a trip to Las Vegas.

Baldwin’s other plays include Sand, Forgetting, and Patty Red Pants, among others. Her work has been produced and developed by such theaters as Women’s Project, The Guthrie, New Georges, Circle X, The Empty Space Theatre, and the National New Play Network.

The company will feature Satomi Blair, Veracity Butcher, Seth Moore, Scot Morse, Briana Pozner, Ian Quinlan, Nicky Schmidlein, and Ron Washington.

The creative team will include Kate Sinclair Foster (scenic design), Joe Chapman (lighting design), Katie Hartsoe (costume design), and Colin Whitley (sound design).
