Dr. Gilda Carle will participate in a post-performance talkback following the 3pm matinee on Sunday, December 19 of Miss Abigail’s Guide to Dating, Mating and Marriage, playing at at the Downstairs Cabaret Theater at Sofia’s.
Dr. Gilda, known from her work in print, online and on television, will dispense relationship recommendations for the audience during a post-show discussion. In addition, she will introduce the second edition of her book Don’t Bet on the Prince!: How to Have the Man You Want by Betting on Yourself, which features new and updated material. Among her other books are He’s Not All That! How To Attract the Good Guys and Teen Talk with Dr. Gilda: A Girl’s Guide to Dating.
The play, written by Ken Davenport and Sarah Saltzberg, is based on Abigail Grotke’s popular book of the same name, in which relationship advice is doled out using wisdom from yesteryear. The production stars Eve Plumb and Manuel Herrera.
