James Abbott will serve as musical director for the concert, which is being offered as part of The New York Times' 10th annual Arts & Leisure Weekend celebration.

The event will feature selections from the musical theater scores of Disney's seven Broadway shows which feature lyrics by Rice, including King David, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aida, Tarzan, Mary Poppins, and The Little Mermaid.
