Alan Cumming, Ari Gold, Billy Porter, and David Raleigh’s previously announced recording of the classic song “That What’s Friends Are For” is now available for download on iTunes. Proceeds from sales of the single will benefit the Ali Forney Center.

In addition, the artists have made a video of their rendition of the number, which will air on the Logo Network.

The Ali Forney Center (AFC) was started in June of 2002 in response to the lack of safe shelter for LGBT youth in New York City. It is now one of the nation’s largest and most comprehensive organizations dedicated to homeless LGBT youth, and provides short and long term housing, free medical care, HIV testing, mental health services, showers, food, computer access and job training and placement at its drop-in centers in Chelsea and Brooklyn.
