Natalie Portman to Star in and Produce Pride and Prejudice and Zombies Movie

Natalie Portman will star in and produce Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, a film based on the bestselling book by Seth Grahame-Smith and Jane Austen, according to a report in Variety.
Portman will star as feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet in the film of the book that adds bloodthirsty flesh-eating zombies into Austen’s plot. Additional casting and shooting schedule will be announced at a later date.
Portman has starred on Broadway in The Diary of Anne Frank and in the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Seagull. She can currently be seen on the big screen in Brothers and her many upcoming films include Thor, Your Highness, Black Swan, and Hesher.
