Two-time Obie Award winner Matthew Maguire will bring his new solo show, Wild Man to The Wild Project, running January 11-26. Maguire has written, directed, and will perform the piece, which will feature lighting design by Ryan Seelig.

In this autobiographical work, Maguire grapples with mortality as he explores some of the wildest moments of his own life. As a performer, he won his first Obie for his work in Mac Wellman’s I Don’t Know Who He Was and I Don’t Know What He Said. Maguire received his second Obie for his play Abandon. Among his other plays are The Seven Deadly Elements, based on the collage novel by Max Ernst, Eye Figure Fiction, Untitled (The Dark Ages Flat Out), The American Mysteries, The Memory Theatre of Giulio Camillo, Propaganda, Fun City, Visions of Don Juan, The Tower, and its solo version, Babel Stories.
