Marcia Gay Harden, Jude Law, Cynthia Nixon, et al. Contribute Items to Actors Fund’s Auction of 1000 Stars

The Actors Fund’s Auction of 1000 Stars Holiday Edition is now live for online bidding through December 10. The event will raise money to support the entertainment charity, and features unique musical theater experiences and autographed theatrical memorabilia.

A number of theater stars have contributed autographed theatrical posters and Playbills, including Alan Alda, Annette Bening, Zoe Caldwell, Joan Collins, Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, Brian Dennehy, Will Ferrell, Ralph Fiennes, Peter Gallagher, James Gandolfini, Marcia Gay Harden, Cherry Jones, Nathan Lane, Angela Lansbury, Jude Law, Laura Linney, Patti LuPone, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Cynthia Nixon, Christopher Plummer, Faith Prince, Geoffrey Rush, Liev Schreiber, Kathleen Turner, and more.

In addition, items up for bid include an opportunity to conduct the exit music for Broadway’s Billy Elliot; a private violin lesson from Chicago‘s maestro Marshall Coid; the chance to join Wicked‘s lead trumpet player Jon Owens and the show’s orchestra in the pit for a performance; and one-of-a-kind autographed “musical quotes” from composers and/or lyricists and their hit shows, including Tim Acito, (Zanna, Don’t!), Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, (Ragtime), Lin-Manuel Miranda, (In the Heights) and Jeff Bowen and the cast of [title of show].
