Karen Finley to Premiere The Jackie Look at Laurie Beechman Theatre

Karen Finley will premiere her newest work The Jackie Look at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, running on Saturdays at 7:30pm January 30-March 6, with an official opening on February 6 The multimedia piece had originally been scheduled to debut earlier this year at the Country Club, but was postponed due to the closing of that venue.

In The Jackie Look, Finley will use the iconic persona of Jacqueline Kennedy Onasis to explore history, style, trauma, femininity, and the demands of being the First Lady. The show will focus not only on history but also on present-day events and public figures.

The Obie and Bessie Award winning artist's previous works include Make Love, George & Martha, The American Chestnut, A Certain Level of Denial and The Return of The Chocolate Smeared Woman.
