Barrow Group to Present Benefit Staging of Lisa Ebersole and Sidse Sorensen’s People Talk

The Barrow Group will present benefit performances of Lisa Ebersole and Sidse Sorensen’s new play People Talk at the TBG Theater on December 15 and 16 at 8pm. Jade King Carroll will direct.

In this audience participatory event, a tour guide named Bailey leads audience members through a wedding, a funeral, a writer’s group, an AA meeting, a reality TV audition, a subway car, a surprise party, a graduation ceremony, and more.

The play is the premiere production of TBG’s Women’s Development Group, F.A.B. Women, conceived by co-artistic director, Lee Brock, to support projects originated by female artists. Proceeds will benefit The Barrow Group.

The cast will include both playwrights and The Barrow Group’s co-artistic director, Lee Brock, along with Kerry Flanagan, Scott Price, Shawn Regruto, Lulu Roche, Herb Rubens and Karin Sibrava.
