Daytime Emmy Award winner Tom Pelphrey will star in the Apothecary Theatre Company’s production of An Evening of Don Nigro, a group of four one-act plays, to run December 9-20 at Theatre 54 (244 West 54th Street). The plays will be directed by Shawn Renfro.

The evening will consist of Fair Rosamund and Her Murderer, a humorous look at an X-rated fairy tale; The Sin Eater, a comic twist on necrophilia; Something in the Basement, about a husband and wife who discover the consequences of fear and loathing in the bedroom; and Wonders of the Invisible World Revealed, an encounter between two people filled with self-hate, irony, and deceit.

The cast also includes Kate Russell, Jonathan Karp, Samantha Ivers, Dennis Flanagan, and Katya Campbell. The creative team includes Jerome Hoppe (lighting) and Lou Albruzzese (sound).

Pelphrey has won two Emmys for his work as Jonathan Randall on the CBS daytime drama Guiding Light. He has previously appeared on the New York stage in A New Television Arrives, Finally.
