NYPL Set to Present Victor Spinetti: A Very Private Diary

Victor Spinetti is set to present his solo show, Victor Spinetti: A Very Private Diary, at the The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, January 5 & 8 at 6 pm, and January 10 at 3 pm. Ned Sherrin will direct this production, which is free to the public.

The show explores Spinetti’s life and career with a mix of comedy, gossip, and personal revelation.

Spinetti won a Tony Award for his performance in Oh What a Lovely War, and his other Broadway credits include The Philanthropist, La Grosse Valise, and The Hostage. He is best known for his close association with The Beatles, and his roles in their films including A Hard Day’s Night and Help!. His other film credits include The Taming of the Shrew, Under Milk Wood, Becket, Voyage of the Damned, The Return of the Pink Panther, Under the Cherry Moon, and The Krays.
