HERE Arts Center’s Culturemart 2009 Announces Line-Up

HERE Arts Center has announced the line-up events for its 2009 Culturemart festival, to run January 7-February 4.

Highlights of the series include the return of Corey Dargel’s theatrical song series Removable Parts; performance artist Ray Lee’s Siren; Johari Mayfield’s dance piece Venus Riff; Geoff Sobelle, Trey Lyford and Steve Cuiffo’s magic-driven Amazingland; Michael Bodel’s Sonnambula; puppetter David Michael Friend’s theater piece Ego; Jennifer Gibson’s multimedia work Sounding, based on Henrik Ibsen’s Lady from the Sea; and Sheila Callaghan and Daniella Topol’s six-hour epic Water (or the secret life of objects).
