Broadway's Gypsy to Now Close on January 11

The Broadway revival of Gypsy starring Patti LuPone, Laura Benanti, and Boyd Gaines, all of whom won Tony Awards for their work, and directed by Arthur Laurents will close at the St. James Theatre will now close on January 11, rather than its previously announced date of March 1, 2009.

The show's creative team includes James Youmans (scenic design), Martin Pakledinaz (costumes), Howell Binkley (lighting), and Dan Moses Schreier (sound).

The show was nominated for a total of seven Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical, four Drama Desk Awards, and six Outer Critics Circle Awards.
