Anthony Rapp will play Joe’s Pub as part of Ghostlight Records’ Late-Night Series, Monday, December 22 at 11:30 pm.

He will appear with his band, Albinokid, and will sing Broadway hits and original songs, in addition to sharing personal stories from his career. Rapp is best known for originating the role of “Mark Cohen” in the Tony Award-winning rock opera Rent, and will reprise that role in the musical’s new national tour launching in January. His other Broadway credits include You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Six Degrees of Separation, Precious Sons (for which he received a Drama Desk nomination), and The Little Prince and the Aviator.

As previously announced, the Ghostlight Series will also feature Jonathan Groff, who will join the current Broadway cast of Spring Awakening for their holiday concert, A Benefit for SafePlace, December 15, with holiday songs written by Ann Marie Milazzo, vocal arranger for the show. The evening’s proceeds will benefit SafePlace, a nationwide organization that provides resources to young people in crisis.
