Bernstein: The Best of All Possible Worlds Set for 2008

Bernstein: The Best of All Possible Worlds, a citywide festival devoted to the late composer Leonard Bernstein to be presented by Carnegie Hall and the New York Philharmonic, will run September 24-December 13, 2008.

The festival will feature over 30 events, including a gala concert featuring Michael Tilson-Thomas, the San Francisco Symphony, Yo-Yo Ma, and Dawn Upshaw; a City Center Encores! production of the musical On the Town; a concert by the New York Opos featuring Christiane Noll; a Standard Time program by Michael Feinstein; a concert of Bernstein’s Mass; and numerous film screenings, panel discussions, and lectures.
