Beard, Lewis, Pascal to Star in Women’s Project’s Sand

Alec Beard, Angela Lewis, and Pedro Pascal will star in the Women’s Project world premiere production of Trista Baldwin’s Sand, which begins performances on February 1 at the Julia Miles Theater. The production, which will open officially on February 10, will be directed by Daniella Topol.

Sand focuses on three young American soldiers in the middle of a desert, who are order to guard an abandoned gas station. Baldwin’s other works include Doe, Falling Up, and Patty Red Pants.

The creative team includes Anita Fuchs (sets), Clint Ramos (costumes), Traci Klainer (lighting), and Daniel Baker (sound). Topol’s directorial credits include Dead City and Sick.

Beard has appeared Off-Broadway in A Feminine Ending and As You Like It. Lewis recently appeared Off-Broadway in Hoodoo Love. Pascal’s Off-Broadway credits include Some Men, Macbeth, and Beauty of the Father.
