Julia Murney, Kendra Kassebaum, and Sebastian Arcelus will join the Broadway production of Wicked on January 9.

Murney, who will play Elphaba, will replace Ana Gasteyer; Kassebaum, who will play Glinda, will replace Kate Reinders; and Arcelus, who will play Fiyero, will replace Derrick Williams. All three performers have played their roles on the show’s national tour.

Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked has a score by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman, and is directed by Joe Mantello. The show opened on October 30, 2003, and has since played to virtually sold-out houses.

The Broadway production also stars Jayne Houdyshell as Madame Morrible, David Garrison as the Wizard, Jenna Leigh Green as Nessarose, Logan Lipton as Boq, and Steven Skybell as Dr. Dillamond.
