The Drama Desk will host a conversation with Tony Award-winning playwright Sir Tom Stoppard on Monday, January 8 at Tony’s Di Napoli (147 West 43rd Street). The discussion, to be moderated by Drama Desk president William Wolf and author Margaret Croyden, will take place from 6pm to 7:30pm; it will be preceded by a buffet dinner, starting at 5pm.

Stoppard is currently represented on Broadway by The Coast of Utopia, a trilogy of plays set in mid-19th-cenutry Russia on view at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre, and by his newest work Rock ‘N’ Roll in London’s West End. His many other plays include The Real Thing, Jumpers, Travesties, and Arcadia. He also received the Academy Award for Shakespeare in Love.

Tickets are $25 for Drama Desk members and $45 for non-members. Reservations are required; please email wolf@wolfentertainmentguide.com.
