Based on the true experience of its creators and stars, Jeff Bowen and Hunter Bell, [title of show] is the story of two struggling writers who race to complete their new musical in time to be submit it to a musical theater festival. The show was first seen in the 2004 New York Musical Theatre Festival and had a brief run at Ars Nova earlier this year, starring Bowen and Bell plus Susan Blackwell and Heidi Blickenstaff, with direction and choreography by Michael Berresse and musical direction by Larry Pressgrove. All personnel are on board for the Vineyard production.

Book writer Bell has helped develop new works at many local and regional theaters.
