Robert Cuccioli, Ed Dixon Set for Musicals in Mufti’s Mirette

Robert Cuccioli and Ed Dixon will star in the York Theatre Company’s Musicals in Mufti presentation of Mirette, December 16-18. Directed by Drew Scott Harris, the production will also feature David Duffiled, Patti Murin, Anthony Santelmo, Kelly Sullivan, and Maggie Watts.

With a book by Elizabeth Diggs and a score by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt, Mirette tells the story of the unusual friendship between the strong-willed, 10-year-old title character and the Great Bellini, a jaded tightrope walker who has lost his nerve.

Cuccioli received a Tony Award nomination for his performance in the title role(s) in Jekyll & Hyde. Dixon has been seen on Broadway in Les Misérables, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and The Iceman Cometh, and starred Off-Broadway in Under the Bridge last season.
