Mike Starr to Replace Brad Garrett in The Odd Couple

Mike Starr, who played Kenny Sandusky on the NBC series Ed, will replace Brad Garrett in the role of Murray the Cop in the Broadway revival of The Odd Couple on January 3.

Starr was last seen on Broadway in the short-lived Requiem for a Heavyweight and also starred in The Guys in the Truck. He has appeared in more than 50 feature films, including Goodfellas, The Ice Harvest, Billy Bathgate, and Miller’s Crossing. Starr will be seen in the upcoming film The Black Dahlia with Scarlett Johansson, Josh Hartnett, and Hilary Swank. In addition to Ed, his TV credits include the series EZ Streets and guest appearances on Wiseguys, Martial Law, and Joan of Arcadia.

The Odd Couple was written by Neil Simon. Directed by Joe Mantello, the current production stars Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Peter Frechette, Lee Wilkof, Rob Bartlett, Jessica Stone, and Olivia D’Abo.
