Suzanne Bertish, Wayne Knight, Euan Morton, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Emily Swallow will star in the world premiere production of David Grimm’s Measure for Pleasure at The Public Theater. Directed by Peter DuBois, the production will run February 21-March 26. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

In this new play by the author of Kit Marlowe, Will Blunt is in love with Molly, a young transvestite prostitute. He rescues Molly from a life on the streets but doesn’t count on him/her falling in love with Dashwood, a handsome, womanizing rake.

Knight was recently seen on Broadway in Sweet Charity and is well known for his role of Newman on TV’s Seinfeld. Stuhlbarg received a Tony nomination and a Drama Desk Award for his work in The Pillowman and has appeared in numerous Shakespeare plays at the Public, while Swallow appeared in the theater’s recent production of Much Ado About Nothing.
