Elaine Stritch will give a special New Year’s Eve performance of her acclaimed cabaret act At Home at the Carlyle for a limited audience of 100 people in the Carlyle Hotel’s Trianon Room (Madison Avenue at 76th Street).

The evening’s festivities will begin at 7:30pm and will include a special five-course tasting menu, one bottle of Taitinger champagne per couple, and the show, which will conclude with a celebratory New Year’s Eve toast. The cost is $500 per person. At Home at the Carlyle incorporates stories of Stritch’s colorful life and songs by Cole Porter, Alan and Marilyn Bergman, and Kurt Weill; the show sold out during its fall run and will return to the Café Carlyle for a January 3-February 4 engagement.

Meanwhile, Steve Tyrell will conclude his two-month run at the Café Carlyle with a similar New Year’s Eve show/dinner package at a cost of $500 per person. He will also offer a second show at 1:30am, at a cost of $95 per person. (There will be no charge to those patrons who wish to remain from the earlier performance.)
