, featuring the acclaimed performer, director, and choreographer dancing and singing a host of standards with the support of the Manhattan Rhythm Kings and a big band, will be closing this Sunday, January 5, at the Little Shubert Theatre after 25 previews and 23 regular performances. A tour of the show is expected to begin this spring.

In his review of the show, TheaterMania’s Marc Miller wrote that "Tune invites comparisons to Astaire — he even calls his new revue Tommy Tune: White Tie and Tails — but where Astaire was an excellent actor who used dance to convey amorous longing, Tune carries about as much subtext as Big Bird. What he does share with Astaire (and Big Bird) is a natural, unforced likability. And, like Fred, he has a knack for democratizing dance."

The Little Shubert Theatre is located on Theater Row at 422 West 42nd Street. Tickets to Tommy Tune: White Tie and Tails may be purchased by calling Telecharge at 212-239-6200.
