Be Prepared! Casting Call for The Lion King Set for January 18

Disney Theatrical Productions will hold an open casting call for the Broadway and national touring companies of on Saturday, January 18.

The producers are looking for “strong, dynamic singers that move well, whose strengths include pop, rock and gospel sounds. Seeking various adult roles including the African lions Simba and Nala. Acting ability a plus.” Performers of all ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to attend. All of those auditioning should bring their own sheet music and be prepared to sing 16 bars of a song demonstrating their vocal range; also required are a photo and a résumé or a list of performance credits.
