Cast members of Broadway's First Date, led by TV's Zachary Levi and Krysta Rodriguez, are set to perform the show's numbers "The One" and "Something That Will Last" in the November 28 telecast of the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. As previously announced, the event will also include performances from the Broadway shows Pippin, Matilda the Musical, Motown the Musical, and Kinky Boots.

First Date, written by Alan Zachary, Michael Weiner, and Austin Winsberg, follows a mismatched couple (Levi and Rodriguez) as they embark on a blind date and contend with the ghosts of their past. The company also includes Sara Chase, Kristoffer Cusick, Blake Hammond, Kate Loprest, and Bryce Ryness, as well as Eric Ankrim, Kevin Kern, Vicki Noon, and Sydney Shepherd. Cusick, Loprest, Noon, and Ryness will also appear in the telecast.

The musical is scheduled to end its run at the Longacre Theatre on January 5, 2014, after 34 previews and 174 regular performances.
