The cast of Broadway’s Kinky Boots will perform “Raise You Up”/”Just Be,” the jubilant finale from the Tony-winning Cyndi Lauper-Harvey Fierstein musical on the NBC telecast of the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the morning of November 28. The musical theater-centric performances, which also include cast members from Pippin, Matilda The Musical, Motown The Musical, and the Carrie Underwood-led cast of TV’s The Sound of Music Live!, will be featured on the first hour of the national broadcast.

Inspired by the 2005 British film of the same title, Kinky Boots stars 2013 Tony Award winner Billy Porter as Lola, a sassy drag performer who helps rejuvenate a failing shoe factory by designing boots for his fellow drag queens. The company is also led by Tony nominees Stark Sands and Annaleigh Ashford. Two-time Tony winner Jerry Mitchell directs and choreographs the musical, which is produced by Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig.
