On November 8, just a day after a snowstorm blanketed New York City, the sun came out at the Palace Theatre, when James Lapine's revival of the Broadway classic Annie celebrated its opening night. Following the performance, the cast and their guests headed over to party the night away at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Brynn O'Malley, Clarke Thorell, and J. Elaine Marcos complete the principal company, with Madi Rae DiPietro, Georgi James, Junah Jang, Tyrah Skye Odoms, Taylor Richardson, and Emily Rosenfeld as the orphans, and Sadie Sink and Jaidyn Young as the orphan standbys.

The cast also includes Ashley Blanchet, Jane Blass, Jeremy Davis, Fred Inkley, Merwin Foard, Joel Hatch, Amanda Lea LaVergne, Gavin Lodge, Liz McCartney, Desi Oakley, Keven Quillon, David Rossetti, Sarah Solie, Dennis Stowe, and Ryan VanDenBoom.

Guests at the opening night performance included Kenneth Bowser, Andrea Burns, Jamie deRoy, Peter Flynn, Jim Gaffigan, Anita Gillette, Steve Guttenberg, Amy Irving, Andrea McArdle, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Luis Miranda, Bobby Moynihan, Marissa O'Donnell, Bernadette Peters, Caroline Rhea, Tony Sheldon, and Jennifer Westfeldt.
