John Cullum, Randy Graff Set for Free Reading of They Promised Her the Moon

Tony Award winners John Cullum and Randy Graff will star in a free public reading of Laurel Ollstein’s They Promised Her the Moon, to presented Monday, December 3 at 4pm at NOLA Studios (244 West 54th Street), It will be directed by Valentina Fratti (Apartment 3A).

Ollstein’s work is based on the true story of Geraldyn “Jerrie” Cobb, who became the first woman to be tested for space flight in the 1960s, only to be told that women would not be considered for NASA’s astronaut training program.

The cast will also feature Mary Bacon (Giant), Reed Birney (Circle Mirror Transformation), Jenn Colella (Chaplin), and Andrew Samonsky (Scandalous).
