Written by Rick Crom and directed by Mark Waldrop the ever-changing NEWSical spoofs the top headlines of the day from the 2012 Presidential Election to Honey Boo Boo. Crom will pen special material for McArdle's engagement in the show.

The cast currently includes Christine Pedi, Michael West, Tommy Walker, Susan Mosher, Emily McNamara, and Ryan Knowles. Ed Goldschneider serves as musical director.

McArdle's many stage credits include Les Miserables, Starlight Express, Beauty and the Beast, and State Fair.
