Tony Award Nominee Leonard Stone Has Died

Leonard Stone, who received a Tony Award nomination for his role as George in the 1959 Broadway musical Redhead, has died at age 88, according to People.com.


Stone’s only other Broadway outing was Look Homeward, Angel. He worked steadily in film and television for 50 years, including roles in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, L.A. Law, General Hospital, All in the Family and Mission: Impossible..


He is survived by his wife, Carole.
