Milk Like Sugar Extends Off-Broadway Through November 27

The Off-Broadway production of Kirsten Greenidge’s Milk Like Sugar — co-produced by Playwrights Horizons, Women’s Project and La Jolla Playhouse — has extended its run at Playwrights Horizons through November 27. Rebecca Taichman has directed the production.

The play concerns 16-year-old Annie, an inner-city girl who struggles between the pregnancy pact she made with her friends and her need to carve out a life beyond the only one she knows.

The company features Cherise Boothe, Angela Lewis, LeRoy McClain, J. Mallory-McCree, Nikiya Mathis, Adrienne Moore, and Tonya Pinkins.
