Michael Feinstein, Sarah McCarthy Set for Discussion of The Sound of Mumbai: A Musical

A screening of the documentary The Sound of Mumbai: A Musical, will take place on November 8, 2011 at NYU’s Skirball Center for the Performing Arts and will feature a conversation with director Sarah McCarthy and Grammy Award-winner Michael Feinstein. The Sound of Mumbai: A Musical is one of four documentaries produced about contemporary India and is set to debut on HBO2 on November 23, 2011.
The Sound of Mumbai: A Musical tells the story of the tenacious, musically inclined Indian street children who are enlisted to perform a concert with members of the elite Bombay Chamber Orchestra. The other documentaries set to debut in November are Marathon Boy, The Bengali Detective and Pink Saris.
