Michael Cerveris, Estelle Parsons et al. Set for Red Bull’s Aeneid Reading

Updated casting has been announced for the staged reading of Olivier Kemeid’s The Aeneid, to be presented at Theater at St Clement’s, on Monday, November 7 at 7:30pm. Kay Matschullat will direct, and the performance will feature music by Duncan Sheik.

Inspired by Virgil, and translated by Judith G. Miller, the play transports Aeneas’s search for a homeland into the modern world of middle-eastern revolution. The event is part of Red Bull Theater’s Revelation Reading series.

In addition to the previously reported Mia Barron and Michael Cerveris, the cast will feature Mary Bacon, Aysan Celik, Sevan Greene, Estelle Parsons, Matt C. Webb, and Rasha Zamamiri.
