Tony nominees John Cariani, Robert Cuccioli and Christiane Noll will be featured in a workshop of the new musical The Piper, to be presented by The Irish Repertory Theatre on Monday, November 7 at 8pm and Tuesday, November 8 at 3pm. Michael Bush will direct.

The musical is set in Boston’s Scollay Square in the late 19th century, and follows the story of Jordan, a woman who runs a boarding house, her polio-stricken daughter who possesses magical abilities, and a mysterious boarder who becomes the primary suspect in the search for a serial killer.

The cast will also include John Armstrong, Leah Edwards, Katie Emery, Wendy Fox, Brittney Lee Hamilton, Jeremiah James, Michael Marcotte, Marcie McGuigan, Doreen Montalvo, and Jeff Williams.

The workshop will feature musical direction by Steven Ray Watkins and sound design by David Margolin Lawson.

The workshop performances are free and open to the public. For tickets, call the Irish Repertory Theater box office at 212-727-2737.
