Grace Gummer to Guest Star on NBC’s Smash

Grace Gummer will guest star on NBC’s forthcoming musical drama series Smash, according to a report in Variety. She will play the daughter of characters portrayed by Angelica Huston and Michael Cristofer.
Gummer’s stage credits include Arcadia on Broadway and The Sexual Neuroses of Our Parents Off-Broadway. Among her film and television credits are Larry Crowne and Gigantic.
Smash, which will have original songs by Tony Award winners Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, chronicles the mounting of a Broadway show. The cast also features Christian Borle, Will Chase, jack Davenport, Megan Hilty, Brian d’Arcy James, Debra Messing, and Katharine McPhee.
