Bill Irwin, currently playing the Fool in The Public Theater’s production of King Lear, will join with longtime collaborator Doug Skinner to present Late Night Foolin’ at Joe’s Pub on Thursday, November 17 at 11:30pm.

The duo will dust off well-worn bits of clown material, novelty song and Vaudevillian story-telling from their years of working together. The performance will also feature Irwin’s King Lear castmates Kelli O’Hara and Michael McKean in brief musical moments, and also a roast of Sam Waterston, who is playing the title role in Lear.
